When I was cleaning house one day I found numerous plastic store bags stuffed in another reusable store bag. I decided I wanted to find a solution to the plastic bag mess. A little while later I was given a pattern for a tote bag and I knew I had found the answer to protecting the environment and putting the excess material from many sewing projects to use. I wanted to make bags that were colorful, washable and more durable than the reusable store bags. Thus was born \"Bags Galore\". All the bags are large enough they may be used as beach bags, school bags, shopping bags or even laptop bags. Pockets on the outside allow you to carry coupons, calculators, cell phones, accessories, etc. All the bags are handmade, lined, with long straps that wrap around the entire bag providing strength and stability. The squared base allows for easy filling.
